Christopher Rea is Professor of Asian Studies and former Director of the Centre for Chinese Research at the University of British Columbia.
Tom Mullaney is Professor of Chinese History at Stanford University, and a Guggenheim Fellow.

Post-doctoral researcher

Kateřina Gajdošová PhD., project title: Self and Agency from the Perspective of Early Chinese Texts (2023-2025) In her post-doctoral project, she proposes an alternative ontological framework for interpretation of early Chinese (excavated) texts. Drawing from the continental philosophy of process, she seeks to reformulate the categories of agent and action, to focus on the "locus of power" and "precursors of action", and to present the act of establishing a shared world as a value-laden endeavour.
