We invite you to the opening of an exhibition of works by Badiucao, an artist and activist from China known for his protest art who is currently working in exile in Australia. The opening of the exhibition MADe IN CHINA will take place at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art, Prague 7, on May 12, 2022, at 7 pm. The exhibition runs until the end of August 2022.

Kateřina Gajdošová PhD., project title: Self and Agency from the Perspective of Early Chinese Texts (2023-2025) In her post-doctoral project, she proposes an alternative ontological framework for interpretation of early Chinese (excavated) texts. Drawing from the continental philosophy of process, she seeks to reformulate the categories of agent and action, to focus on the "locus of power" and "precursors of action", and to present the act of establishing a shared world as a value-laden endeavour.
