The lecture will be given by dr. Emina Popović, the CCK-ISC new research fellow, who will talk about her research. The lecture will take place on Monday, 29th April 2019, at CCK-ISC, Celetná 20, room 118.

Post-doctoral researcher

Kateřina Gajdošová PhD., project title: Self and Agency from the Perspective of Early Chinese Texts (2023-2025) In her post-doctoral project, she proposes an alternative ontological framework for interpretation of early Chinese (excavated) texts. Drawing from the continental philosophy of process, she seeks to reformulate the categories of agent and action, to focus on the "locus of power" and "precursors of action", and to present the act of establishing a shared world as a value-laden endeavour.
