We invite you to Kaiser Kuo’s lecture on contemporary culture in China at Faculty of Arts, Celetná 20 (room no. 118) on May 18, 14:10-15:50.
While Kaiser Kuo is mainly known through his involvement in 1980’s Beijing rock scene, today is the editor of China news aggregator website SupChina and creator of Sinica Podcast. At the same time he used to work at some of China’s most important internet companies. His lecture will focus on Chinese contemporary culture, transculturation and Chinese nationalism. Because of his personal involvement with some of these processes, he will also share his own experiences on this topic with the audience.
